Model Number : Symphonie iPackGPS
The NRG Systems Symphonie iPackGPS (GSM) is an Internet-enabled communications and continuous power supply module for the SymphoniePLUS3 data logger. This product is designed specifically for use at sites where GSM/GPRS Quadband cellular service is available.
Technology The NRG Systems Symphonie iPackGPS (GSM) utilizes a specialized GSM cellular modem which enables the SymphoniePLUS3 data logger to connect to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) through a GSM cellular network. The SymphoniePLUS3 data logger transfers data via the Symphonie iPackGPS as an email attachment to your desktop, anywhere in the world.
Key Benefits of Symphonie iPackGPS
Connection The Symphonie iPackGPS attaches to the SymphoniePLUS3 data logger port located on the back of the data logger. The Symphonie iPackGPS and SymphoniePLUS3 data logger are then secured to the Symphonie Shelter Box using four (4) screws.
Power Supply The Symphonie iPackGPS (GSM) contains one rechargeable, 12-volt sealed lead-acid battery and a recharging circuit. The battery recharging circuit is designed for use with one (1) external 5-watt PV panel (sold separately) that connects to terminals on the side of the Symphonie iPackGPS. Terminals for an external power system are also available. This configuration keeps the internal batteries continuously charged, assuring reliable data logging and transfer operations.
Included Components:
Cellular Antenna Each Symphonie iPackGPS (GSM) ships with an omnidirectional antenna appropriate for sites where a cellular tower is nearby. If a different antenna solution is required, please contact the NRG Systems Technical Support Team.
Accounts and Programming The Symphonie iPackGPS requires GSM/GPRS data service and an Internet Service Provider (ISP) account in order to function properly. GSM and ISP accounts need to be obtained from the provider of your choice, and the required settings for the accounts need to be programmed into the Symphonie iPackGPS prior to use.
WindLinx Information: WindLinx is a worldwide service that streamlines account setup and overall management of data transfer from multiple sites.
